The hotel offers a combination of fresh and friendly colours with comfort and functionality. The reception is open daily from 6:00 until 23:00. It was in a great location for public transport and walking distance to the city centre. All the staff were very nice and helpful with any questions or requests. The back garden area was also nice to sit in and have a drink.

The apartments come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TV, bathroom with bathtub and toiletries. Everything. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to beautiful Basel. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The flat is a 2 minute walk to a fantastic cheese shop (please visit) and the COOP and Migros. It's super close to the tram stop. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub sold me after a long day of walking, I could soak my sore feet! The host was so nice to bring a wine opener for us. Overall, what a fabulous find.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Great location. Easy to get to the city centre but quiet. Amazing helpful staff that was capable to help in a situation where we needed help.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. The staff was super kind, there was limonade and unique candies at the reception. The room also had a mini bar (with a few drinks) and that was for free of charge. On the top of that, we had an amazing breakfast with garden view. They offered fresh orange juice, a wide range of pastries, cheese, salmon, fruits, etc.
