Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town.

The hotel offers a combination of fresh and friendly colours with comfort and functionality. The reception is open daily from 6:00 until 23:00. The staff were excellent, they accommodated all our needs. The rooms are all modern and well equipped. You get a welcome drink. All went fine. We even extended our stay one more night.

Situated within a 15-minute walk from Basel's centre, Apartments Spalenring 10 offers free on-site parking. The apartments come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen cable TV, bathroom with bathtub and toiletries. Everything. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to beautiful Basel. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The flat is a 2 minute walk to a fantastic cheese shop (please visit) and the COOP and Migros. It's super close to the tram stop. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub sold me after a long day of walking, I could soak my sore feet! The host was so nice to bring a wine opener for us. Overall, what a fabulous find.

Complimentary WiFi is featured throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The aparthotel features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Modern, practical, roomy & pleasing building. Spacey and clean rooms. Good, but not exceptional breakfast.

Ibis Styles Basel City is located in Basel, within easy walking distance from Basel SBB train station. The St. Jakob-Park stadium and the Messe Basel can be easily reached by tram. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are included in all rates. -Good location: I can walk from the train station to the hotel and walk from the hotel to the convention center easily -Nice staff, good room, abundant breakfast

Motel One Basel is located in Basel, 100 metres from the Architectural Museum. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and benefit from free WiFi access.

Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. The room was quiet, modern, exceptionally clean and surprisingly larger than expected. The bathroom was sleek and modern in style with excellent water pressure in a large shower. The sink and counter were large, clean, well lit. Towels were large and smelled good. The staff at Motel One were extremely professional, warm and friendly and so accommodating! While this hotel is only three stars, I found it was more aligned with five star properties I have stayed in throughout Switzerland and other parts of Europe. I was so impressed with the overall experience, I would consider routing myself through Basel again on the near future…and will add more time onto the visit to enjoy this great hotel, it’s superb service and staff and it’s great location in this fantastic city!

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The restaurant Alexander serves Swiss specialties and offers different Pizza varieties and delivery service in the hotel. Very good value for money, near train station, restaurants and the family room was really huge and plus the jacuzzi was really great. Our family had fun. The food was also really good.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station.

All rooms have a cable TV, a large work desk and a free minibar with soft drinks and beer. Location, cleanliness of room, and helpfulness of staff were excellent. The room was a little warm and there wasn’t an obvious way of cooling it off.

The flat-screen satellite TV provides more than 100 international channels and features internet via TV. Couldn't be a more friendly staff. The breakfast was absolutely worth the price (to those who might think it too expensive)

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The accommodation enjoys a central and very quiet location close to the university and the cantonal hospital. The hotel has a small garden and free WLAN. Its great location close to the city centre, its spacious and comfortable rooms and, most important, its very friendly and helpful staff! Many thanks to Kristina and her colleagues!

Airport Hotel Basel is a unique design property conveniently located 3 km each from the city centre and from the EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse. It offers free WiFi access and a restaurant.

The rooms are all air-conditioned and soundproofed, and come with a bathroom and a flat-screen cable TV with a wireless keyboard for internet use. Some also feature a bathtub and a seating area. Clean and comfortable room, very nice and helpful staff
