Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The staff were excellent, they accommodated all our needs. The rooms are all modern and well equipped. You get a welcome drink. All went fine. We even extended our stay one more night.

Situated within a 15-minute walk from Basel's centre, Apartments Spalenring 10 offers free on-site parking. Everything. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to beautiful Basel. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. The flat is a 2 minute walk to a fantastic cheese shop (please visit) and the COOP and Migros. It's super close to the tram stop. The bed was comfortable, the bathtub sold me after a long day of walking, I could soak my sore feet! The host was so nice to bring a wine opener for us. Overall, what a fabulous find.

Ibis Styles Basel City is located in Basel, within easy walking distance from Basel SBB train station. The St. Jakob-Park stadium and the Messe Basel can be easily reached by tram. Everything was great, from the reception to the breakfast. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The bath products were nice, shower pressure good and we had an excellent sleep in the silent room, excellent bed.

Motel One Basel is located in Basel, 100 metres from the Architectural Museum. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and benefit from free WiFi access. Great location and appreciated the early check in after a long flight

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Location is perfect, very easy to get there from the airport and then all the sights can be easily reached on foot or by tram. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice of things. The room was super clean with a nice bathroom. The bed was comfy and the whole room was quiet so nights were relaxing. Even the late (after midnight) check-in could be solved.

The Wettstein hotel is located in a central residential quarter of Basel, 200 metres from the Rhine river, and offers you garage parking, free Wi-Fi and a free internet station. Staff were great only thing the room was very hot but a great stay

Centrally located in Basel, just 300 metres from the Fair and a 10-minute walk from the banks of the Rhine and the Old Town, Adagio Basel City offers free WiFi and wired internet access. Spacious, comfortable room. Clean with all necessities - soap, towels, bedding etc. Location really close to city center but, also quiet. 5/5, would recommend.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area. The building is beautiful, the room was much larger than expected, and the facilities were quite new. There is also a small garden inside the hotel. Among all the places my friend and I stayed during our week-long trip in Switzerland, this was the one we were most satisfied with and considered to have the best value for money.
