Dinner was delicious, everything was homemade and homegrown or very local (rocket from the garden, fish from the lake, wine from the neighbouring vineyard). Marco’s mixed pasta was exceptional. We had a super evening, nicely finished in front of the fire with grappa and music on the juke box. Super breakfast too… loved the walnut bread and so many delicious delicacies. We will definitely be returning, this is a very special place and worth a detour.

Completely renovated in 2017, the modern Hotel Bellinzona Sud is located in Monte Carasso, right off the A2 highway. Free parking and a charging station for electric cars are located right outside the hotel. Perfect location for those on the road. Hotel was very clean and a walking distance to our favorite Marche.
