Hotel Hohberg "Next to BBC Arena" is situated in a residential area on the edge of a forest, 4 km from the centre of Schaffhausen and 6 km from the Rhine Falls. Nice big room. Very comfortable beds. Staff were very welcoming. Some lovely touches make all the difference. Served us ice water on arrival on a hot summers day. Offered free sandwiches for your onward journey on departure.

Centrally located in Stein am Rhein, Hotel Rheinfels is housed in a historic building from the 14th century and features a restaurant with a large terrace facing the river. Charming, traditional building, which is in the heart of Stein am Rhein, and also within walking distance of the railway station (under 10 minutes). The room was very clean with a lovely view over the river, the heating was efficient and the bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and also a hair dryer. The breakfast was good, and the staff were kind and helpful.

Located in a quiet area in Schaffhausen, 600 metres from the Rhine River and 3 km from the Rheinfall, the biggest waterfall in Europe, Hotel Park Villa features an à la carte restaurant serving... Super, super nice staff, can't hope for anything better. The hotel itself is 'oldschool cool' in the right way. So if you like sleek, bright business hotels? Not for you. If you like good old hospitality, and almost historic rooms? GO FOR IT. actually just booked a room for mid July again. Lovely might be the right word for this hotel. All the little touches, like fruit in the room, and a chocolate at check out? perfect hospitality

Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century. Very friendly staff, nice location, very good bed and a «green» line; we were asked if we needed room service for our 2 days stay, and not meat or fish for breakfast, of course if we wanted, to avoid vaste of food. We liked that very much👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Friendly staff, a good breakfast buffet with many homemade bread and jams, fresh eggs, good coffee. Good bicycle storage, excellent dedicated bike path between Stein am Rhein and Ramsen. Lovely, relaxing village.
