Hotel Hohberg "Next to BBC Arena" is situated in a residential area on the edge of a forest, 4 km from the centre of Schaffhausen and 6 km from the Rhine Falls. Nice big room. Very comfortable beds. Staff were very welcoming. Some lovely touches make all the difference. Served us ice water on arrival on a hot summers day. Offered free sandwiches for your onward journey on departure.

Situated in the centre of Schaffhausen, Hotel Kronenhof offers views of the Munot Fortress, free Wi-Fi, and 2 restaurants. Location was nice and quiet, very pretty town with nice Christmas decorations. Breakfast had many good options and all of them were good. The room had the blackout shutters which was great as well. Staff was also very helpful coordinating a cab for me on the day I left.

Situated amid a park-style garden, this family-run hotel is a 5-minute walk away from the Schaffhausen Train Station and the city centre. Stuff was very kind and helpful. Room was super clean. Breakfast was nice and rich.

Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century. We were traveling with our dog, and the hotel kindly provided him with his own bed, blanket, two bowls, and some snacks. We were offered ice because of hot weather. And bottled water was free of charge.
