Excellent hotel in Siebnen, with a good restaurant, that had special offers for the hotel guests. I stayed there one night, and the room was nice and very clean! Breakfast was also very good!

This place was delightful in every way. On arrival, we were greeted warmly by the host and one of her five children. We were shown around our room and to the kitchen, which we were free to use. The room was beautifully set up, with lovely touches including a jug of drinking water on the table, and some individually wrapped cookies, which were vegan (a bonus for us, as usually we can't eat any chocolates or cookies). A little later, the host came to see us again with another of her children, to collect our payment. Again, their interaction with us was extremely warm and friendly. The room had a wonderful wall-length heater, which kept it warm, and a really nice combination of lighting, including a standing lamp with a dimmable bulb, and bedside lights. The bathroom was immaculate. The shower screen was so clean that it looked brand new - it had no streaks or water/soap marks on it, and the towels were folded to perfection. We spent two nights here but could have stayed longer due to how lovely it was. On the morning of our departure, the host came to see us to make sure we said goodbye when we left. She was so friendly and lovely. I cannot fault this place at all; it easily deserves a 10 out of 10.

In my opinion, Brunnen is the perfect place to experience Lake Lucerne - the mountains are magnificent on the north and east ends of the Lake. And the city of Lucerne is only 30 minutes away.

Restaurant was great too… roast beef ap was a perfect quick snack! Will return. Parking was also great.

The Schmid & Alfa is spread over 2 buildings that are over a century old. The renovated rooms offer modern amenities such as LCD flat-screen TVs with 150 channels. Many rooms have views over the lake and mountains. This hotel is right in the heart of Brunnen, and we could walk everywhere. It was a 2 minute walk to the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife making workshop. We had private/dedicated parking for our entire stay, which was great when you have tired kids after a day of sight seeing in the local area. Breakfast was good, with enough variety to satisfy a picky toddler and food sensitivities. The most amazing thing about our stay was the view from our apartment. We could watch the boats on the lake and wake up to the water and mountain fresh air.

Rigi Kaltbad Swiss Quality Hotel offers modern rooms with views of the surrounding Alpine landscape and free entrance to the mineral bath and spa area on site. The property has 3 restaurants that serve regional and international cuisine. The spa was incredible as well as the Rigi activities (hiking, skiing). The quality of the food at the restaurant was also great.
