The room was very comfortable and clean with stunning mountain views. Given our travel schedule we could only stayed two nights, I could have stayed longer. The house was beautiful, the rooms very clean and comfortable with a great view overlooking Lake Maggiore! Daniella greeted us warmly and was a great host.

Surrounded by a garden with a heated outdoor pool, Smart-HOTEL MINUSIO, a Swiss Quality Hotel is a 2-minute drive from the centre of Locarno and Lake Maggiore. Good facilities and practical location. The area was calm and quiet and moving around with the Ticino ticket was very easy and convenient (bus stop right around the corner). Good base for exploring Ticino, we did a lot of different trips during our stay (easy start by hopping on a bus right in from of the hotel). Short walk down to the waterfront with some restaurants, couple of supermarkets within a couple of minutes by foot. Starting the morning with a breakfast in the garden was a nice way to start the day (excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, fresh fruit and local flavours). Friendly and helpful staff. During our stay, the hotel was fully booked but never felt busy or crowded, the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.

Super clean, very friendly personnel - starting from owners, finishing on cleaning ladies, good location - close to the bus station and the boat, tasty breakfast, comfortable, spacious room and balcony; all in all - perfect place to stay!
