Alma Hotel - Boutique hideaway by the lake with rooftop and ladies-only wellness enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus... The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

The hotel is very close to the Zurich flughafen (10 min by taxi). I had a very nice rest. The fatigue accumumated during a 15 hr-flight was relieved very well. Hope to visit here again when I get a change to travel Swiss in the future.

Hotel Wartmann is located in the centre of Winterthur, 50 metres from the train station and a 2-minute walk from the Old Town. During my stay no dog in hotel. LOVELY!!! Nice welcome. Good breakfast, I love the freshly squeezed orange juice.Next to the station, but quiet.Good numer of sockets in the room. Comfortable bed.
