Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

The hotel staff was super friendly and had no issues letting us stay in the restaurant area while the check-in time was made available. We stayed 2 nights and the room was clean, comfortable, and offered everything we needed. I really enjoyed the decoration of the hotel and the location was perfect as we had the train station at a 3 minute walking distance.

Hotel Wartmann is located in the centre of Winterthur, 50 metres from the train station and a 2-minute walk from the Old Town. Location was very close to the railway which is helpful. The room was very clean with big windows which felt nice. The breakfast was freshly stocked and the staff was kind. The single beds and bunkbeds were nice to sleep on.
