Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Boasting views of the city, Hotel Felix is situated in Zürich, 800 metres from Kunsthaus Zurich. This 3-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a concierge service. The location is great, in the old town and near a lot of restaurants/cafes. We walked from the train station with big luggage and it was still comfortable. The room was very clean and the bed was large and super comfortable. There's no coffee machine just some soluble coffee, there's some complimentary tea and water too. I would book this hotel again!

There is a train trail right next to the hotel but fortunately only few train passed at night time and we still could get good sleep (weekend). Maybe train passes more often weekdays, then you should ask the staff about train passing times if its important for you

My stay at Jet Hotel Zurich Airport was truly outstanding. From the moment I booked my reservation, the hotel staff demonstrated remarkable professionalism and attentiveness, ensuring that every aspect of my stay would be seamless. I have reduced mobility, which requires special accommodations, and I was delighted to find that everything was perfectly arranged for my comfort. What particularly impressed me was the proactive and continuous communication from the hotel. The staff sent multiple messages before my arrival, confirming all details and addressing any possible concerns I might have. They even called me at the exact time I had requested to ensure everything would go smoothly. This level of dedication and care is something I truly appreciate. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed and assisted with the check-in process. The receptionist, who was exceptionally kind and professional, personally ensured that I was settled comfortably in my room. Boasting a shared lounge and free WiFi, Motel One Zürich is situated in Zürich. The property is around 600 metres from Paradeplatz and Bahnhofstrasse, as well as 1.2 km from Grossmünster. Only stayed one night but wish we stayed longer! This hotel is only a short walk from the station and basically in the middle of the city. Close to everything you need in Zurich. The room wasn’t too small and the high windows and ceilings made it feel very spacious. The staff were great and would defiantly stay here again.

Hotel Wartmann is located in the centre of Winterthur, 50 metres from the train station and a 2-minute walk from the Old Town. Central location (30m from train station), but quiet rooms (good noise isolation), very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast.
