We were there at super cold time and were fine. Don't stress just bring good clothes for high mountain area! We spent a rest day in Putre and loved it. Great restaurant Casadona in town square by bank... bought the most amazing warm lama coat from amazing artisan on corner down from restaurant. Soooo warm and super cool!!!! Make sure u fill up on gas before you come to Putre.
