Vicente Costanera offers tasteful décor and is located right in front of Puerto Montt’s main square, which features plenty of souvenir shops and cafes. WiFi is free and superior rooms offer sea views.... We only stayed for a single night, after our filght arrived from Brazil and we were actually heading to Puerto Varas. The hotel is old (from 1958!) but very well maintained, with all areas looking as new, and with a very nice lobby. Very good breakfast and excellently well located, adjacent to the Plaza de Arms and the restaurant Fuente de Alí, very close to the big shopping mall Paseo Costanera and in front of the costanera of the city along the Pacific Ocean. When we arrived we were given complimentary drinks, which was a nice surprise. It’s also worth mentioning that the staff were very kind with my daughter and her husband, who arrived very early in the hotel in the other day, just to meet us, and were given access to the hotel premises.

Hotel Antupiren offers rooms with Wi-Fi just 2 blocks from the beach and 4 blocks from downtown Puerto Montt in a quiet, residential area. Despite being a bit outdated, it is actually a great hotel. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and is located in the beautiful attic of this hotel, with great views. They even let me park my car safely in the small alley behind the hotel. Location is walkable to the city center.
