Nice area for hikes.

Lovely terrace, owner spoke good english and was very helpful and attentive, i was even invited to join his friends for dinner one night. The food was delicious and biiig portions.

Located in Longsheng, Longji Holiday Hotel features a shared lounge, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is set 7.8 km from Ping'an Rice Terrace, 12 km from Guzhuang Village Rice Terrace and 16 km from Longji Rice Terrace Scenic Spot. Each room comes with a balcony. We arrived at the train station in Guilin, planning to go to the Rice terraces by bus or taxi. However, because we don't know Chinese, we didn't know exactly all the details of the route (we did everything at last moment, don't repeat). So we booked this hotel at the last minute, largely because May speaks English. Almost immediately she helped us with a taxi at a good price. It turns out that if you call Didi to the village, you have to pay the taxi driver to enter the rice terraces, as most drivers don't have one. Pingyang is a very authentic village, there were minimal tourists in the village when we visited, for us it was an amazing experience. We decided to stay for two nights, to enjoy the mountain views and the fresh clean air. May is a true angel, we trusted her 100%, she helped us in so many situations. The hotel lobby with stunning wood furniture, unbelievably beautiful! Tourist tip: Come to Pingan, stay overnight and hike to Dazhai early in the morning. Enjoy the views and the silence. Have lunch in Dazhai and take a car back to Pingan.

Nestled in a small village among the untouched and Protected Karst Hills, our unique location is well away from the bustling, noisy West Street yet close to local beauty spots. There are many local restaurants nearby. We really liked the personal touch and also the friendly and helpful owner and staff. The quality of the breakfast (option Western or Chinese), as well as the coffee and evening bar is very unique for China - especially for this place. Eric and Sammie were super helpful with everything - including helping us to book the right tours and advising us on what not to do :-) right opposite the hotel you can rent an e-scooter (diandongche in Chinese) which is very cheap and you can get around very easily. The bamboo rafting tour you can reach by foot in around 15'. Dinner options you also have in walking distance - we loved the food right when you leave the hotel, you go left and the first little restaurant on the left side had amazing food. we also did the sunrise tour to Xianggong mountain and the owner helped us to book a private driver. it was worth getting up early but be aware that there are lots of people there also wanting to see the sunset (even in the off-season there were many people). But they make sure you are early enough to get a good spot for watching the sunrise and getting to take great pictures as well. We really enjoyed our time there. The international touch and the friendly hosts made it special!

It is very quiet, so it is a good place to relax. The staff is very nice, especially Craig who was very helpful to us and spoke good English. The breakfast is very good and western and vegetarian options are available.

Location is right across Moon Hill, room: we love the room in the old house setting, spacious and homie, all the staffs are excellent, best service so far especially Lingling very helpful.
