Our group of 18 people stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely kind and generous, always making us feel welcome. The location itself is stunning and made our stay even more memorable. One thing to note: they also offer tours, which we unfortunately didn’t know about in advance as we had already booked with another company. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended!

Lakeside Inn Guilin Central has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Guilin. The owner David is very helpful he booked all my activities and airport drop off for me and event drop and pick me up from the night cruise. The place is very convenient and I walked to Elephant Hill Park before heading to the airport in the morning. They provided me with late dinner and early breakfast as needed. I really appreciate all he did for me!

Just 5 km from Yangshuo, The Giggling Tree is an unique guest house which is located in the tiny village of Little Mountain Gate. All their staff were so amazing and went out of their way to take care of my family and I. They’re super helpful and their service was absolutely top notch. I love how they have their on site restaurant and served great western and Chinese food which meant we could pretty much choose to stay in the hotel all day long if we wanted to. It made meals for kids a lot easier and stress free! The small touches pushed the experience over the top - when I brought an apple to the courtyard for breakfast they immediately asked if I wanted it peeled and cut!

We arrived at the train station in Guilin, planning to go to the Rice terraces by bus or taxi. However, because we don't know Chinese, we didn't know exactly all the details of the route (we did everything at last moment, don't repeat). So we booked this hotel at the last minute, largely because May speaks English. Almost immediately she helped us with a taxi at a good price. It turns out that if you call Didi to the village, you have to pay the taxi driver to enter the rice terraces, as most drivers don't have one. Pingyang is a very authentic village, there were minimal tourists in the village when we visited, for us it was an amazing experience. We decided to stay for two nights, to enjoy the mountain views and the fresh clean air. May is a true angel, we trusted her 100%, she helped us in so many situations. The hotel lobby with stunning wood furniture, unbelievably beautiful! Tourist tip: Come to Pingan, stay overnight and hike to Dazhai early in the morning. Enjoy the views and the silence. Have lunch in Dazhai and take a car back to Pingan.

Eden Inn offers a European standard of Service and Cleanliness. We pride ourselves in the highest standard of Cleanliness and Value for Money in the whole Yangshuo area. A very nice hotel. The location is great, away from chaos, very peaceful, yet with easy access to scenic spots in the meantime. People here are very friendly and helpful, sharing a lot of travel information. Their team speaks English, then everything became easier.

Wedged amongst the bamboo forests and rural farmlands, Riverside Retreat Hotel overlooks the beautiful water of the Li River. The place looks exactly like the pictures. It is managed by Shelly, the owner and a lively warm hearted lady who always has a smile on her face. The outdoors space by the pool smells of Jasmin Flowers and big butterflies everywhere. And then the views of the karst landscape and the city down below everywhere you look. its is slightly away from the Town, roughly 16 minutes by scooters which you can rent at the reception. I LOVED this place. I felt home. Wei wei the chef, Xing xing the cleaning lady, Craig the main receptionist and of course Shelly have left a print on my heart. If you are visiting the area, this is thee absolute best value for your money situation. That being said, Yangshuo is an all around kind and hospitable city so i am sure that wherever you end up will be Sweet.

I had a great stay at the Inn, also called "Luna Inn". It's outside Yangshuo, in a small village, so it's more peaceful and quiet in the evening, better to connect with nature. The facilities were great, and all the staff was very friendly. They also had bikes that I could use for free, so I went around the farming villages which was beautiful
