Everything from staff to property was amazing. We enjoyed our time with staff, food was delicious and plentiful. There recommendations for food off site was equally spot on. They went above and beyond. We had a medical issue and they accompanied us to the hospital to be sure all was taken care of. We have never been more impressed.

The host Anthony is English speaking and very welcoming, he helped us to book tickets and recommended suitable routes through the park and took the time to chat with us every night over a beer or two and telling us about Zhangjiajie. The Rooms are large and newly decorated, everything from Beds to Bathrooms are brand new. There are several restaurants along the road in short walking distance. I can't think of a better place to stay if you want to visit Wulingyuan. Great Value. Highly recommended.

Jenny was sooo helpful and welcoming. She helped me plan my a day in Tianmen mountain and two days in Zhangjiajie. Without her I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy the parks, as I don’t speak Chinese and it’s hard to get by without the language there. She also checked in to make sure I was okay. I would recommend 100% anybody (Chinese or foreign) to stay here as on top of the service the rooms were also very clean and comfortable, spacious, etc.

We highly recommend this hotel in Zhangjiajie. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The breakfast was exceptional, and they went out of their way to accommodate our vegan diet with a variety of options, never making us feel like a burden. Isaac’s father is an amazing chef, and his culinary skills made each meal a great experience . Our host, Isaac, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. He assisted us in countless ways, starting with picking us up from the train station upon our arrival. Throughout our stay, he frequently drove us to various locations and provided drop-off services whenever he could. Isaac’s extensive knowledge of the local area was invaluable. He gave us detailed explanations about the walking tours around Zhangjiajie Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain, including insightful briefings on what to expect at each site. He also helped arrange our tickets and provided clear instructions on how to navigate the attractions. His support truly enhanced our experience and made our trip memorable. The hotel is modern and clean, ensuring you won't feel like you're missing on anything. It's a great place to stay for visiting Tianmen Mountain and the Avatar Mountains, and its close proximity to the train station which adds to the convenience.

The host was so warm and welcoming, as was everyone who lives here. We were able to go down to reception or send a message (we used alipay) to get any answers or make requests. All the hotel information is clearly presented as soon as you arrive, including the food options available (we enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast). We stayed with an infant, and the room was lovely and spacious for our needs. We arrived at a cold time, but the room heated up well and the shower was nice and hot. The location is a really convenient 5 minute drive to the Wulingyuan park entrance.

Arranged a car to take me to see to see the Zhangjiajie cave and then to the train stations. China never disappoints.

Set in Zhangjiajie, WALLY HOUSE 张家界青山惠风民宿 features free WiFi. The property is located 400 metres from Yuanjiajie, 2.1 km from Bailong Elevator and 2.5 km from Zixia Taoist Temple. We had a really nice stay at Wally's House. The rooms were nice and spacious and the owner Wally was super nice and friendly. He offered us a second room for free, took time every evening to show us which parts of the Forest Park to visit and even let us take a shower after checking out and before taking the nighttrain. Thanks for everything!

Plus the location of the hotel is just right there in the middle of busiest area of Fenghuang Ancient City. Great place indeed. This hotel helps us to enjoy the city very much!!!
