Although this hotel is small, the location is excellent for everything you might want to do in the city - eating, shopping, site seeing. The staff, though only Chinese speaking, are all friendly and helpful and enthusiastic. The facilities and rooms are new and clean. Everything works. They have provided charging cables beside the bed. The TV is gigantic. The toilet and shower are smart. They have all the toiletries you need plus a few more. There was even a massage chair in the room. There is always water and tea and some snacks at the lobby the whole day. The breakfast is mainly Chinese that is well-prepared, but bread and butter and jam are also available. There is a small gym, and laundry room with a dryer but I didn't get to use it. This is an excellent hotel and really good value for the rate. The only caveat is that the staff don't speak any English. We managed because my husband speaks a little bit of Chinese. I say this as information and not a disadvantage. This town is still relatively for local tourists so I do understand why they don't have English speaking staff yet.

She did offer a welcoming wanton dish, truly tasty and well balanced. The bathtub was very enjoyable. This accommodation was within walking distance from the East Lake, and from the famous Dragon Tea plantations. The lady at the reception was very kind ad helpful with ideas, information and explanations about the place. I am very grateful to her

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The property is located near botanical garden and at the end of the main restaurants/hotels area. During the night it was quiet. The garden is lovely specially in spring while fruits are ripen and trees are freshly green. I spent much time there listening to fish and the nine year old turtle. My room is small as I was solo. I have also used the Japanese room for my yoga. They serve nice quality tea and it’s part of the experience to be in the tea capital of south China. I plan to stay there again in my future visit.
