You sleep with all the animal sounds at night, it’s even more amazing when it rains but it gets really really loud at night, if you need a quiet place to sleep this is not it. I listen to animal and rainy sounds on spotify to fall asleep so it was easy for me. There will also be insects in the house (which I didn’t mind). The shower is spacious. Pilar is a very friendly and attentive host and will organize the tours for you. Just tell her what you want to do. Wifi works good.

Just outside of the city but nice to be away from the cars.

The bungalows at Hotel Amazon are set around a large courtyard. They feature LCD TV and a seating area. Free Internet is also available. Super comfortable bungalow and great location. Food was delicious. Our host Judy was really helpful in organising excursions for us, transfers to and from airport, etc.
