This 18th century colonial-style Casa Del Curato hotel features a swimming pool and a terrace with a view of Cartagena’s old city. I loved Casa del Curato. the place was so beautiful, the staff was so helpful and friendly. I am a solo traveler and they made me feel so welcome and always made sure I was ok. kept checking up on me like they were my family.. the room was so comfy and very cute. the AC worked great. the breakfast was amazing. the receptionist was a doll!!. she was so sweet and friendly and helped me book my trips and helped me get around the town. the cute cat on the place was adorable. I miss her! I keep telling my frineds that they should go to Cartagena and stay at this hotel.

The location was excellent, right on a main street of the walled city, close to bars, restaurants, and cafes. The room was smaller than expected but perfect for one person. It had enough to prepare simple meals although I didn't end up doing so - there are so many great places nearby. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and I was able to work in the office when needed, although the WiFi in the apartment was great. I'd definitely stay here again!

My flight was changed and I showed up at 830 am delirious after travelling, they were so so nice and let me check in early so I could rest while waiting for my friends to arrive. Also when we went to an island for a few days they let us keep some stuff there until our return. They whole staff was so friendly and helpful. Place was clean and breakfast was great. Definitely recommend and would stay again. It’s also in a great location
