The room was clean and spacious. It has balcony to see the volcano. The lodge has hiking trails. I enjoyed two day solo walk. Well maintained and easy to walk, except river trail. I met only few people on the trail and i was able to enjoy the solitude. I appreciate Greivin at reception helping me to arrange transportation to Mistico to La Fortuna town.

After a month in Costa Rica, this was one of our highlights. It is a beautiful, well kept property. We loved the main eating area and cabins. The chocolate tour was wonderful! We enjoyed the area and walked the trails- lots of birds! Even the gift shop was good - with reasonable prices!

This is the best resort i have stayed for the past few years and i travel extensively. Staffs are very kind and sincere, not overwelming for an introvert. My dome is very beautifully designed, spotless inside and out. Not to mention their holistic approach on the whole syntropic farm, three meals at the restaurant are farm to table. I saw sloths! toucans! on so many hikes by myself and with guides. All informative hikes.

It starts with the awesome hospitality of Cecile and Eric. Everyone is so nice and kind. Then there is the rich, very special and always fresh breakfast each morning which gets you started for a fun packed day. You have so many opportunities to do in the area, like Tenorio with Rio Celeste or a night jungle tour and many more. But you can also just stay on the finca grounds and explore. There we have seen tons of different birds (including 3 types of toucans) as well as white faced monkeys. The cabins have a really high standard and nothing was missing. Cecile provided us with the best tips were we could have a great dinner. Our whole family never wanted to leave - It was our last stop on our trip but we couldn’t have chosen a better place.
