The property is beautifully nestled along a bubbling brook, close to lake Arenal with an easy drive to Liberia airport and all the hiking and activities near LaFortuna. Trent was a great host with great recos on places to eat nearby. (Gingerbread House is a must for dinner!) . Nice pool and amazing landscaping. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. eggs, meat. etc. highly recommend!

Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato.

Its location is in the Castle, 10 km from the Arenal Volcano National Park and 12 kilometers from the hot springs. I had a wonderful time at this location. Super friendly, willing to help with every request and super nice people. A special shout out to Nicola who was super helpful. Perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.
