The setting of this hotel could not have been more beautiful. It was difficult to leave my ocean front beach chair to so anything more than watch surfers and read my book. I was there to celebrate my birthday and Anabel left me a sweet birthday gift as a surprise. She also helped for my partner to arrange a surfing lesson. We will most certainly return to this wonderful gem of a hotel.

There is a restaurant. This is a beautiful gem of a hotel. With beautiful views out over the valley, a fabulous and spacious room and unparalleled staff in terms of their willingness to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They really went out of their way to greet us with smiles and a concern for how our birding was going. The owner was on hand to personally greet each guest and seemed genuinely to care about his property and his guests. The on site restaurant was so good, we chose to eat no where else for our 5 day stay. We were there for birding, and the owner arranged a marvellous guide for the 2 days we required. It is a beautiful birding location, and we will be staying there again upon our return to Monteverde.

The location is incredible. Everyone at the hotel was super helpful with booking activities. And the breakfast? Oh my gosh, it was amazing! We tried everything on the menu, and it was all delicious. To top it off, our room was upgraded to an ocean view, which was perfect. The view is simply breathtaking. I think it’s one of the best locations in Montezuma. Highly recommend it!

Four different types of rooms are available, all with a private bathroom and most include air conditioning. Was only here for a night but loved it. It’s very clean and looks nice, I would say better than the photos. I stayed in the «Superior Pod in a room of 10» and it was great. Comfy, privacy, aircon, space to put your bag by your bed, big locker, lights and charging outlets by your bed. We got free towels and really good free breakfast. Friendly staff and plenty of social area. Super near the bus station. Really good pizzeria next door. Highly recommend!
