The room was newly furnished and clean. The bathroom was really nice. The lobby and restaurant are comfortable. There is free parking in front of the hotel and it takes 5-10 minutes to get to the national park entrance along paved roads.

I had some problems with the checking time and contacted the property about it. Almost immediately I got an answer from Anabel, which is no problem with my request. She was so flexible and helpful with everything. I highly recommend it.

Hotel Trópico Monteverde is located in Monteverde, Costa Rica and has a garden and terrace. The property is around 9 km from Sky Adventures Monteverde and 10 km from Selvatura Adventure Park. Oh my god. Simply incredible!!! We arrived and Jose took all the time to give us a guidance through the area. We received a map and he marked the best spots to eat (the hotels own restaurant is awesome by the way), where to park and also a few things you might not find online. For daytime activities we had no troubles as we just had to ask Jose and he arranged everything (guided walking tour through the national park, zip lining tour, you name it and he took care). He made us feel right at home and took "planing stress" off our shoulders so we could enjoy every minute. As always I've saved the best for last. THE VIEW IS AWESOME. The garden and the windows of every room and of the restaurant are all facing this amazing view down. You can see the clouds go through the smaller valleys below you and sometimes the clouds go right through the garden. To make the garden comfortable to stay, you have a hollywood swing, a viewpoint platform and a covered fireplace (where Jose lights up a nice campfire). All in all, there was no wish that was not fullfilled and sometimes we also got moments, we could not imagine to wish for. Big thank you to Jose and his staff and to all who took the time reading this, don't search further, this is the place you want to stay.

This hotel is perfect! Beautiful location and amazing staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchenette had everything you needed. Excellent spot for a quiet stay.
