A small and cozy boutique hotel. The room as well the bathroom are nice, clean and specious. The location is perfect and in walking distance from a variety of good international and local restaurants and nightlife of Manuel Antonio. The Manuel Antonio National Park is within 10 minutes driving from the hotel. The staff is very helpfull and nice to the guests. There is a bar and pool for relaxation. The breakfast is delicious. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Trópico Monteverde is located in Monteverde, Costa Rica and has a garden and terrace. The property is around 9 km from Sky Adventures Monteverde and 10 km from Selvatura Adventure Park. This is a beautiful gem of a hotel. With beautiful views out over the valley, a fabulous and spacious room and unparalleled staff in terms of their willingness to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They really went out of their way to greet us with smiles and a concern for how our birding was going. The owner was on hand to personally greet each guest and seemed genuinely to care about his property and his guests. The on site restaurant was so good, we chose to eat no where else for our 5 day stay. We were there for birding, and the owner arranged a marvellous guide for the 2 days we required. It is a beautiful birding location, and we will be staying there again upon our return to Monteverde.

David, our host, was incredibly kind and welcoming - he went out of his way to show us sloths, monkeys, and other incredible local wildlife, making our experience feel magical from the very start. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, fresh, delicious, and a perfect start to each day. One of the biggest highlights was the direct access to the beach. Whether you’re looking to relax or catch some waves, it’s an ideal spot for surfing and enjoying the ocean. The whole vibe of the place is peaceful and beautiful, and Carmen’s hospitality made it feel like home. We left feeling so relaxed and happy. We can’t wait to come back !

Hotel Amor de Mar is located in Montezuma, Costa Rica and offers WiFi and easy access to sandy beaches just 10-minute walk away. The property offers free parking. We liked the hotel, the garden, our room (as it was facing this garden with a beautiful view) and especially the terrace with lots of plants. Also the location was perfect and the staff very nice. Also the breakfest was very tasty. If staying in Montezuma, this is the best place to stay. We were happy with our choice.

Offering a bar with pool table and an on-site pool, Tucan Hotel is located in Uvita, a 3-minute drive from Marino Ballena National Park. Pierre is so lovely and helpful and really looks after the hostel and his guests. The location is within 5 minutes to the bus station, bank and the shops. A little walk to the beach but it's a really nice and safe area. I really loved the outdoor shower option. Fabulous breakfast from 7am and free filtered water!
