This place is wonderful. Surprisingly quiet and in a nice location. We stayed there three times ..the night we arrived and two other times between flights to different places. We really enjoyed our stay at Tierra Magica B&B. The room was especially lovely with the owner's artwork and very comfortable. It was an easy walk to shops in Escazu and the garden and breakfast area were welcoming. This may become one of our go-to hotels to stay at when we're in the San Jose area.

Located in the centre of San José, Fleur de Lys offers individually decorated rooms set in a Victorian mansion. It features an attractive terrace, gardens and a restaurant. We loved Fleur de Lys. It’s such a beautiful hotel in a building with character. Everything from breakfast to the staff’s helpfulness exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel offers great value for money, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, well-located and a perfect stay to explore San Jose and the rest of Costa Rica. Viator tours had picked me up here which was awesome and the transport organized was excellent as well. It was a great area, safe to walk around in the day, resturants, parks and historical sites all nearby. This was part of a Travel Guru Life Expedition
