I am happy with the accommodation even though 1 late afternoon, the lights went out and did not come back until 2 hours later. No worries about that, it’s part of Cape Verde life. It is not the hotel’s fault, I totally understand that, and have no complaints there. Upon checking out on the evening of August 2, I thought I had everything until I realized when I was about to board the flight out, that I forgot a few of my valuable items in the pull-out drawers ! Immediately I tried calling your hotel but to no-avail. The next morning, I get an email from your receptionist Karine notifying me that they have found clothes left in the drawer of my room ! I needed the clothes back and she proceeded to help, from the heart. I just want to thank you Karine for going out of your way to help me get my items back. Karine went to the post office and post-mailed me my items all the way to the USA. I work in customer service myself and I must say, Karine’s customer service is pure 100%. Thanks to her, I am reunited with my valuable items that I thought I lost forever. Karine deserves a raise !
