The family-run Hotel Rango is housed in a historical building 20 metres from Pilsen's main square. The restaurant serves Mediterranean specialities and fine Czech and international wines. I spent two nights at Hotel Rango. The location is perfect right off the main square. The hotel is clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and the wifi was great. They also have a superb Italian restaurant downstairs. I usually do not like hotel restaurants, but this one is worth a visit even if you don't stay at the hotel. Everything in the hotel is done with a touch of refinement. Excellent.

Especially the host was amazing, such a lovely lady who took care of us. The breakfast was delicious, including pancakes and quality salami. We loved the garden and the forest just behind the hotel. They were also children-friendly, even though there are not facilities for kids, but it did not matter to us.

Aparthotel Mádr offers accommodation in Modrava. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Every room includes a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Very good place. It is clean and fresh. Comfortable and with care of children. Friendly and kind staff. Good breakfast. I can totally suggest the place for a family trip.

The apartment was great, it is close to the slopes. I must say that the owners of the apartment also made us a surprise where it was very nice. .

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of our month-long holiday and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the Czech Republic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gallaway Farma and found it to be a wonderful, peaceful and comfortable farm setting. Jana our host was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rental rooms are situated on the top level of one of the barns on the property, and below them are a variety of other designated areas, including horse stables, storage rooms and the ranch kitchen where breakfast is served. Our room (#8) was very spacious, had loads of natural light and looked out over the vast fields of animals. The kitchenette in our room was very modern, clean and well-equipped. A great, plentiful breakfast is served here with a large variety of options to choose from. This pension has loads of car parking and is located in an ideal, central location to explore the nearby towns and surrounding countryside.

Surrounded by a romantic landscaped garden, Zamek Hradek is housed in a 17th-century chateau. Its restaurant serves classic Czech dishes and in the summer, guests can enjoy the summer terrace. Historical chateau in the heart of Šumava, nicely upgraded for modern travelers. The indoor pool was amazing. I also liked the garden area, perfect for kids to play or parents to relax and read a book.
