Just 200 metres from Burg auf Fehmarn harbour, this traditional hotel is also a 5-minute drive from the Südstrand beach and promenade. The hotel was in a perfect place near the ferry from Germany to Denmark as we were travelling from the U.K. to Sweden. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, our evening meal in the bar of soup, curry & a cold platter was lovely. The room was clean, comfortable and our dog was made very welcome with a dog bed & treats in the room. There are several good dog walks through woodland to the beach from the hotel. We will stay here again when we make the journey again.
