The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. This is easily the best stay we had on our entire trip. The staff is extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent, the property is conveniently located close to hiking trails and the village has a very relaxed feel. We will be back for longer. Highly recommended!

The setting and views are absolutely idyllic - exactly what you’d hope for in an alpine escape. While there was a little noise from neighboring rooms, the stay was still very comfortable, with a bed so soft and cozy it felt like being wrapped in a cloud. I’m still dreaming about the apple pie from the on-site alpine café, a daily treat not to be missed. The staff were helpful and friendly, and Stefanie, the host, very accommodating. Although I didn’t use the indoor pool or sauna, it was wonderful to have those facilities available. Overall, a truly magical stay.

The owners are extremely friendly, warm-hearted and accommodating. They gave us very good tips and information where to go to and all relevant information what we needed for going around. The room was very clean and spacious with a very nice view. Very nice and complete breakfast. Very nice staff... i can absolutely recommend this Hotel.

Pension Bavaria offers modern rooms in a peaceful location in the town of Mittenwald. It is just 1 km to the centre, and Wi-Fi internet access available throughout. Benny was the most wonderfull host. He greeted us on the street on our arrival, asked us our preferences for activities and then helped us plan two days itinerary in and around Mittenwald. The room was great with a balcony and the breakfast was delicious (and a special mention to the hot chocolate).
