At our arrival, we received an upgrade for no extra cost. The hotel is brand new, as was the room. It was spacious, very modern, cosy and spotlessly clean, as the rest of the hotel. The personnel was very accommodating, friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was just excellent. Breakfast next morning, served at the time of your choice and at your table, so no annoying buffet, frankly couldn't be topped. Value for money - top. I would not hesitate one second recommending this locations to anyone.

The Gasthaus zum Biber has been run by the same family since 1878, and enjoys a fine sense of tradition. This was our second overnight stay here. Excellent location close to the motorway. Good free parking in front of the accommodation. The hotel has a restaurant serving local dishes. Excellent! And their rosehip wine! Awesome! We had to buy a few bottles to take home again. One of the reasons we stayed here again was the rosehip wine :-)

The hotel is close to the castle, so location wise is great. The staff was very helpful. They even broad me an iron board to my room to iron my clothes. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. My husband was allowed to work at the hotel lobby and we were also prepared a table to eat our ordered pizza for lunch.
