All rooms at the Hotel Sonne are spacious and traditionally furnished. Some rooms have a view over Rothenburg’s historic rooftops Even before arriving at the Hotel Sonne, the manager communicated with me as I have some medical issues, and he made accommodations to assist my wife and I. The Hotel is right in the middle of everything. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have a car, the garage is right around the corner and very easy to get to. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars service

The property was incredible and in such a great location. The room was large, very clean, and had beautiful views. Otto checked us in and out and was an absolute delight. We were headed to Nuremberg next and he recommended we try the lebkuchen at the markets and we were so thankful for that recommendation - it was delicious!

It stands in a quiet residential area of Füssen, a 15-minute drive from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. We arrived early by car. Onsite free parking was a big plus. We were allowed to check into our room several hours before check in time. The staff was most friendly and accomodating. Walking distance from the hotel lies the Old Town of Fussen. The ‘Rewe’ grocery was just a short walk away. Most impressive was the breakfast both in presentation, variety and taste. We would definitely book here again when we return to Fussen.

A very clean and comfortable apartment, directly on the Tauber cycle route. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and provided an an excellent buffet breakfast. Safe storage was available for bicycles with charging points for ebikes.

The nearby bus and tram stops offers quick and regular connections to the city centre. Free car parking is available. The villa is furnished in a very nice style and offers a beautiful garden. This area is generally very nice and offers good connections to the city center. We got on really well with the owner and staff member. She gave us valuable tips and, when asked, also told us about the history behind this villa. All in all, we really enjoyed our extended weekend. On the day of departure we were thankfully allowed to leave our car in the parking lot to visit Augsburg on foot/by public transport. All in all really nice villa, great breakfast and super nice staff. We would love to come back!
