Electric kettle was in the room to make some morning coffee or tea, and lots of coffee options in the breakfast area, as well. The room was clean and well lit, and the bed was very comfortable. Nice to have a full length mirror in the room as well as good lighting in the bathroom for cosmetic needs. The hotel is close to some great restaurant options—as close as a 5 minute walk. And only a 9 minute walk to the Saarbrucken train station! The staff was very attentive and spoke English, which was super helpful as I have no German language skills! Because I am an ICG member, I was able to extend my check-out time by a couple of hours to accommodate a later departing train time. I appreciated being able to wait there rather than drag my luggage around town for two hours, passing time before catching my train.
