Schlosshotel Stecklenberg is a 5-minute drive from Thale and a 10-minute drive from Quedlinburg. This location is perfect for hiking in the Harz mountains or for visiting all famous places of interest such as the Bodetal (Bode valley), the World Heritage city of Quedlinburg, the Teufelsmauer (devil's wall) rock formation or the ruins of the Medieval castles of Stecklenburg and Lauenburg. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good. The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby!
