This is an accessible base for exploring the Harz Mountains. A huge advantage is the large parking lot at the back of the hotel. Very nice and helpful owners who helped at every stage. The hotel is intimate, very well-kept and tastefully decorated. It is worth checking out the breakfast offers. We highly recommend this place.

Set in tranquil nature and featuring a historical ambience, this grand castle hotel offers spacious rooms with Italian period furniture. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good. The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby!
