The room is basic, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The large bed is comfortable. The young woman who staffs the reception desk was very friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. The restaurant is huge and very nice! Apparently people come from all over the region for dinner. The large breakfast buffet has every possible option and is delicious. We really liked the fact that the hotel invited guests to pack a “to go” lunch from the breakfast buffet.

The family-run Lunds Hotel is located by Bogense Marina in North Funen. It offers rooms with free wired internet, a furnished patio and views of Æbleø. Beautiful room , clean and very nice designed. The hostess are very kind and helpful.

Skjoldbjerg Garnihotel is located in the village of Skjoldbjerg, a 12-minute drive from central Billund. It offers rooms with a TV and free internet access. Legoland Theme Park is 6 km away. Great accomodation in the countryside just 10mins drive away from Legoland. The place is just made for kids, great outdoor area with trampoline, swings, sand pit, the kids just loved it! Indoors they had Lego blocks to play with, and card games. Very good WiFi all through out the house. All cooking facilities available. Outdoor tables to eat. Host was very helpful and quickly replies to messages. 100% recommended.

The freshly laid eggs, the bicycles to borrow were adequate for the whole family,(we have 2 and 5 year olds) the guided pony ride; there was definitely enough for the kids to play with. The crown jewel of the experience were the amazing hosts who provided amazing tips on the best places to visit in the local area.

Shop in adjacent camping site very for small items (milk/biscuits) very useful/as d you can pre book bakery. They have a little cafe for coffee/wine (closed 12-14) Lots of play areas for kids/forest walks. House was cosy and spacious.
