I was looking specifically for a traditional, colonial place for my stay, but at the same time I was on a budget, because I was at the end of my travels. Luckily I managed to book with Island life - I booked last minute, before boarding the flight and they were quick to reply that someone would be able to check me in, as I was arriving around 1 am I loved the what's app communication- they were giving lots of info on what to do, where to eat and what was happening in the city. I went on a tour and met other people staying in other places, and I definitely seen more in a day then they did, because of all the inside tricks the hostel provided

What an amazing boutique hotel, perfectly located in Zona Colonia (walking distance to everything) This hidden gem exceeded all our expectations, the old charm character, the amenities like the pool and the hottub! We loved the breakfast everyday and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here

Hotel Riazor is a 5-minute drive from the historic centre of Santo Domingo, while the modern city centre is a 10-minute drive away. Las Américas International Airport can be reached in 20 minutes by car. The room was big enough, comfortable, clean and well decorated. The staff was helpful and kind. The hotel has a safe parking area. The location is quiet and safe but a little bit far from zone colonial. The breakfast was delicious but with no buffet. It's a good choice after all.

The convention rooms and Internet Centre are designed for 8 to 30 person capacity. The hotel has a unique location, a short walk to the monuments and historical sites of the first city of America, just a few minutes from shopping malls. Very nice staff, breakfast was very good increbible staff.
