Hotel Villa Colonial is located in the heart of Santo Domingo's historic centre, and offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and a charming patio. The air-conditioned rooms include cable TV. Great location in the old part of the city. Beautiful old building, great facilities and wonderful staff. The included breakfast was excellent. For dinner I opted to walk to one of the many wonderful restaurants nearby. If I ever get back to the country, I'll stay right here.

Island Life Hostel is located 200 metres from Alcázar de Colón square and 350 metres from Casas Reales Museum. It features a swimming pool and free WiFi in public areas. I was looking specifically for a traditional, colonial place for my stay, but at the same time I was on a budget, because I was at the end of my travels. Luckily I managed to book with Island life - I booked last minute, before boarding the flight and they were quick to reply that someone would be able to check me in, as I was arriving around 1 am I loved the what's app communication- they were giving lots of info on what to do, where to eat and what was happening in the city. I went on a tour and met other people staying in other places, and I definitely seen more in a day then they did, because of all the inside tricks the hostel provided

Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. What an amazing boutique hotel, perfectly located in Zona Colonia (walking distance to everything) This hidden gem exceeded all our expectations, the old charm character, the amenities like the pool and the hottub! We loved the breakfast everyday and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here

It is a central and quiet location. I travel 2 to 3 times in the year for work, it's the second time I stayed there, and I'll staying the next time.

Located in the heart of the first city of America, this hotel offers beautiful architecture and balconies with the characteristic ironwork of the 19th century. Very nice staff, breakfast was very good increbible staff.
