La Mirada del Solitario George is located in Puerto Ayora, just 4 minutes’ drive from Charles Darwin Station and next to Cazares School. - Súper clean!! - good location for me (out of the touristy area) - friendly staff - great kitchen!

This unique location — a fortress — offered superb accommodation for my tour group. The Tower room offered excellent opportunities for morning birdwatching; all rooms were clean; staff were very friendly and helpful with offers of maps, local sights, and opportunity for local activity bookings; breakfast was served fresh and promptly each morning; and the location is in a quieter and secure neighbourhood (El Eden). This was by far the favourite accommodation among tour guests compared with two other similarly priced locations in Galapagos (Santa Cruz and Isabela). I cannot say enough good things about La Fortaleza and look forward to returning with more guests in the future. A big thanks to hosts Gianna and Roberto!

This rustic style ecolodge is located 15 minutes’ walk from the La Estación Beach in Puerto Ayora and 200 meters from the main street. Victor and Aaron were incredible! They are perfect hosts and really go above and beyond what we could have expected (they took us to hospital, translated for us, and expected nothing for this - it was out of pure generosity!). The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day, and the towels were the comfiest we had in the Galápagos. There was free tea, coffee, water etc… and even free fresh bananas throughout our stay! There was gas cooking facilities, with sufficient crockery and cooking utensils. Victor and Aaron were also able to help us arrange tours, laundry, and had bikes and kayaks which could be rented. We also loved the decor/look of the hotel which Victor has sustainably and creatively build over the past 30 years - it is truly a work of art, and a must stay in the Galápagos!

We had a fantastic 10 day stay here. The hotel is so lovely, huge rooms with very comfortable beds. Jose, Lis, Marie and team made us feel so welcome and were so helpful with tour and taxi bookings. The location is perfect, so quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious, fresh juice, croissant, fruits and eggs. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We forgot our phone while on the ferry to St Cruz, and they drove down to the water taxi and brought the phone, this is what you can expect from them. Great people, nice property, beautiful island.

Located in Puerto Ayora, White House Galapagos offers free WiFi access throughout the property. I arrived late for my one night stay and didn't know exactly where I was until morning. The hostal is just a few minutes from the main road and 5 more into the town. The garden and sitting area was laid out beautifully and coffee was free. The room was clean, the shower amazing and the bed comfy with a soft pillow. I will definately stay there again. Highly recommended!
