Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night but we hoped to stay longer. The room was big, beautiful and comfortable. The view on the Nile was great.

The staff was super friendly and were ready to sprint to fulfill our demands. Overall, this turned out to be the best place during our 2-week stay in Egypt. The restaurant dished out some of the very best Nubian recipes.

The room is clean and cozy, the hotel generally was super quiet. I really recommend it to everyone. And also it's not expensive at all. Offering spectacular views of the Nile from the Corniche El Nil, Marhaba Palace provides a friendly and relaxed base in Aswan with spacious rooms, close to the centre and bazaar. This is one of the hidden gems of Aswan. To be honest the pictures don't do justice to the hotel. We got a river view room and it had one of the most picturesque views of the Nile and Aswan. The staff was very helpful, and right from checking in to checking out we had such a pleasant experience. The reception can also help with local tours and taxis. The location of the hotel is also ideal and you have access to most facilities nearby (railway station, busses or boats). They even packed us breakfast when we planned leaving early for other destinations in and around Aswan. This was one of the best experiences we had in Egypt.
