The property is non-smoking and is set 29 km from Tortosa Cathedral. We loved our stay at L'Hotelet del Delta. Our room was compact but very comfortable and brightly decorated with modern furnishings. The bathroom and bed were great. Lots of lovely garden seating areas plus very secure parking for our car, and we could store our bikes under cover and comfortably secure. The best parts were our host Cristina with her enthusiasm and advice, and the plentiful and varied breakfast. We would love to return in the future.

Fabulous breakfast and had 2 superb gourmet dinners but in cosy, relaxed atsosphere. I hope hosts have not been hurt by flooding in the area.

The Delta Hotel is surrounded by beautiful wetlands, home to hundreds of varieties of birds and plants. The hotel offers bicycle rental and can recommend walking and cycling routes. Tarragona and Reus Airport are a 1-hour drive away. Everything, the whole experience was fantastic. We arrived on Sunday as the restaurant was closing but they accommodated 6 of us for a 3 course meal. The service really was exceptional for our whole stay. 3 nights of bliss.

The property offers views of the sea and 2 swimming pools. There is also a terrace with views. The staffs are amazing, all of them, they are kind and very helpful, I feel they care for me and always with a smile. I feel like home. The location is not near the central but it’s a perfect get away. We have the beach in front that we can have a short walk, quiet and beautiful. It makes me feel like I don’t want to do anything and relax, enjoy the place.

Our enjoyment began when we were warmly welcomed by the congenial concierge at check in and we appreciated his sense of humour in subsequent chats. The large and easily accessed, gated parking yard was very convenient. Our room was comfortable and looked out on a marvellous square contains a playing area for children surrounded by excellent tapas bars. We spent every evening eating and drinking there while being thoroughly entertained watching the antics of the children. Then when we retreated to our room the excellent sound proofing meant we couldn’t hear any significant noise. We also enjoyed the wide array of delicious food around breakfast. We found little town of L’Ametlla de Mar to be one of the most charming places we’ve visited in 30 years of European travel and we are keen to return to both the town and this excellent hotel.
