Hotel Portal Del Matarraña is a charming boutique hotel, set in a restored Aragonese mansion in Valjunquera. It offers modern air-conditioned rooms and suites, free Wi-Fi and free parking nearby. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The dinners were also great. It's not a fancy restaurant, but the food was very good and it was nice to be able to eat at the hotel. The owner was super-nice and helpful. He gave us excellent tips on places to visit and eat lunch each day of our stay. While driving around the region, we saw some of the other hotels that we had been considering and were happy we chose the Portal Del Matarrana. There's not much to do in the town, but it was a good base location. Free parking was available next to the hotel.

El Convent is a small family-run hotel in the town of La Fresneda in the heart of Aragón's Mediterranean Matarraña region. This is a very special hotel, set in the gardens of the old convent but in the middle of the town. The staff are very kind, friendly and accommodating.The pool is set in the gardens and very refreshing. The restaurant is excellent. The whole experience was very luxurious.
