Our room decor was wonderful and unusually artistic. It was very hot when we stayed, so we were very grateful to have air conditioning in the room, a facility not often found in hotels of this kind in rural France. The owner and staff were very friendly and gave advice on the local area. We dined in the hotel on one night (the restaurant was closed on our first night) and enjoyed a lovely meal, sat outside on the raised terrace, with beautiful views.

Located in the centre of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Hotel de Turenne is set in a 12th-century house built on the fortified city former ramparts next to the Dordogne River. Location was perfect right in the heart of town but quiet at night. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was extra large and clean.

Accommodation was very comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. The bed was good. Parking just at front of the property. Great speed internet to work or stream. Nice little private garden. Owner was very nice and available for us. Would absolutely recommend.
