Located in Pouillé in the region of the châteaux of the Loire Valley, Les Chaumières du Chêne is 15 km from the ZooParc de Beauval and offers a seasonal swimming pool and a terrace in a large park. Lovely quirky little apartment not far from the Zoo. The gardens are awesome, my kids loved playing ping pong and picking blackberries in the woods. The owners are really lovely. even bringing us a glass of wine outside whilst we ate dinner. The kitchenette is one hob, but it's good and the microwave/oven was also great quality so I found it very functional and was able to cook a good dinner

Lovely, comfortable, really well equipped gite in quiet village. We used the key safe to enter, then when the hosts arrived back they greeted us warmly. We found the accommodation very homely, with good wifi and safe parking right outside the door for our classic car. The property has a seperate toilet and shower room, which was brand new. We really enjoyed our four night stay, which gave us easy access to many chateaux. The hosts were really friendly and we would definitely stay again when in the area, maybe on a cycling trip. There is under cover cycle storage too.
