Empire Travel Lodge features accommodation in Lochgilphead. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged for free. It’s well located less than a minute from the main street and loch. The room was an excellent size, breakfast and off road parking were great. Jim & Ele made us fresh coffee for our flasks.

The Moorings is situated in Tarbert Lochfyne within Argyll and Bute. This 3-star accommodation offers free WiFi. The rooms in the Moorings are equipped with a kettle. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The room was wonderful, spacious and comfortable. The location was great with at least one great restaurant nearby. Our hosts were lovely. Breakfast was incredible, a full Scottish breakfast with something we haven't had before, a Fruit pudding. If I could, I would opt-in for such a breakfast every single day for the rest of my life, truly amazing and it really filled us up. (Let's say that lunch wasn't needed anymore)

Liz and Billy are the best B&B hosts I've had in all my travels, and that's saying something! They were incredibly warm, friendly, caring, and attentive. You can tell they truly care that you have a fantastic and relaxing stay. The restaurant view of the loch is priceless! The pizzas are incredible - we literally tried every available option while staying with them, so can say that with confidence. The breakfast is a hefty amount of homecooked food, which was a delicious way to start the day. Feeling so rejuvenated after a long weekend there. Will absolutely aim to return!

We had a truly lovely stay at the Bellachroy Hotel, nestled in a quiet little village, in a less populated regions of the Isle of Mull. The location is fantastic for exploring the island’s wild beauty and hidden gems. The rooms were cozy, and spotlessly clean—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The absolute highlight was the restaurant: a daily changing menu featuring freshly prepared dishes that were consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, and evenings at the bar offered a relaxed, friendly atmosphere to wind down. Highly recommended for those seeking comfort, great food, and a tranquil retreat in one of Mull’s more untouched corners.

Location is very convenient, a short walk from the centre of town and railway station. The host was lovely, and the room very comfortable. Highly recommended.
