We did not partake of breakfast at this venue. but we the room was furnished with generous supplies of tea, coffee, milk and very welcome chocolate bars! As this was apartment style accommodation we catered for ourselves and did so happily with the excellent and well-designed facilities. The location was excellent for our exploration of Armagh city and its surrounds, the ease and interest of which was deftly assisted by the generous and astute advice of Mervyn, our host. We felt very relaxed and warmly welcomed in this comfortably furnished accommodation set amidst lovely gardens.

In the heart of Armagh, the Armagh City Hotel is just 15 minutes’ walk from Armagh Astropark. With a modern leisure centre and free parking, there is also a traditional restaurant. The quality of the food in the restaurant was very good. The restaurant manager went out of her way to make up for a mistake the waiter made during a very busy Saturday evening dinner rush. Unfortunately, I cannot remember her name but she was really friendly and approached us proactively when she became aware that there was a problem. I was very happy about the professional and courteous way she handled the issue. All of the staff at this hotel were very friendly, including the security staff outside the main entrance. Very professional and willing to assist. I can highly recommend this hotel. The pool is also a great plus for this hotel and the hotel premises are very clean.

Location and rooms were great! This Lodge doesn't have the usual Breakfast options but otherwise offers everything else like cereals, mini fridge, kettles, water etc. There's plenty of cafes for Breakfast nearby in the city, so it was perfect for us. Even our late check in was accommodated :) Beds were comfy and heaters kept the room warm. Bathroom was spacious and no Hot water troubles
