I liked how the hotel was just walking distance from the train station and city's attractions. Right in the heart of city centre and lots of restaurants across it! Hotel was able to grant our request of rooms situated beside each other and was able to let us check in early. There was also a free wine and cheese event in the hotel which was a hit

The famous architect, Brunel, designed The Royal in the 19th century. Its rooms decorated in a traditional style with soft duvets and goose and down pillows. They also have a flat-screen TV with DVD player, complimentary cotton slippers, hairdryer, trouser press, tea and freshly ground coffee making facilities, biscuits and mineral water. The location is perfect, the rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The staff are super friendly, and helpful! 🤗 We had a very lovely stay and would definitely go back again.

Extras include bed linen and ironing facilities. It felt like staying at a relative’s house! The room was incredibly cozy, clean, and spacious. Even though we were there during some very hot days, the hosts provided a fan that worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well throughout our stay. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the hosts were absolutely lovely and always available if we needed anything.

Originally founded during the reign of King James I, the Limpley Stoke Hotel today offers individually designed en suite rooms, well equipped with modern comforts and facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and many of the rooms have magnificent views over the valley. They were absolutely lovely, the water wasnt hot due to plumbing works, but within an hour or so i was hot, plus they offered me freebies for the inconvenience. The older buildings hold such character and these things happen, but the professional manner and care was above and beyond.
