The North Wales coast and Liverpool city centre are 30 minutes' drive away. We had a fabulous stay. We were greeted at reception with a smiling face. The room was cozy and updated. Breakfast was great. Conveniently located. We would definitely stay here again.

Near the town of Congleton, the hotel has a quiet, peaceful location but is conveniently within easy reach of the M6 motorway. The property, from grounds to room was magnificent. Very well maintained and the staff were all incredibly welcoming. I will definitely be back for another weekend stay next time I’m in the area.

The Bawn Lodge is situated just a 20-minute walk from Chester Cathedral and the historic city centre. Chester Racecourse is a 5-minute drive, and the M56 motorway is 1.5 miles away. This is a small lodge, only 5 rooms, which was wonderful. The room was furnished with a small refrigerator, coffee maker and mugs. Each day the coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits were replenished. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and included a hairdryer. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is a great bar and restaurant downstairs and it is packed every night. Breakfast comes with the room and has everything from a full English, to yogurt, cereal and fruit. The restaurant staff were extremely accommodating with regard to my food allergies and requirements. A small parking lot is available on site for guests. Street parking is also available.

Accommodation is in 2 wings on either side of the canal, joined by a glass walled footbridge. Rooms feature satellite TVs, free internet access and bathrooms with showers and hairdryers. Excellent location and great value for money. Very friendly staff
