Peaceful location, enjoyed by locals and people passing through. Hosts made us feel very welcome (even did a bag of laundry for us). Breakfast was exceptional (even during a power cut). Would highly recommend.

The property is 10 minutes' stroll from Newquay Train Station, 16 minutes' walk from Fistral Beach, and less than a mile from Newquay Zoo. The nearest car park is 3 minute’s walk away and there is also limited public parking on the neighbouring streets. Due to our central location, unfortunately we do not have parking ourselves. The hospitality, the cleanliness, and the location. It was one of our best stays and we will recommend the place and will definitely stay again.

Situated in the heart of York, The Bar Convent Guest House is only a 15-minute minute walk from the city centre and just over 300 metres from York Railway Station. The Grade I listed building offers an exhibition on the history of the site, a garden and free WiFi. The total ambience of this place makes it worth it alone. Very interesting history. Effectively staying in a museum!
