Gillie is an absolutely wonderful host and provides an amazing bed and breakfast. The room and private shower were comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was way more than we expected with a careful attention to detail. She is a pleasure to talk to and wish we had stayed longer. Thanks Gillie!

The host was wonderful, truly wonderful. We weren't able to take our own slippers so the host provided ones to us free of charge, which were really lovely too. We also had complimentary bakes from them even though it wasn't needed. Throughout the whole stay the lady was just really wonderful, we would definitely visit. The scenery was just great, the location is perfect !

Located 1.5 miles from the town of St Andrews, Scooniehill Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a large garden, offering panoramic views of the Scottish countryside. Beautiful property, peaceful setting. The room and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed being out of town but very close by car. Very relaxing!

Has shops and a pub within walking distance however I would take walking boots for the pub walk as the public footpath can get muddy.

It's a beautifully situated cottage in Dalgety Bay right in the middle of the fields. You have a lovely view of the Firth of Forth and there is plenty of wildlife around. Had we known it was this beautiful we would have stayed a week. Shopping and dinner options nearby are good and you can be in Edinburgh in just half an hour by train. The furniture is adequate, the rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped.
