Make yourself at home at one of Scotland’s cosiest hotels, Ballachulish Hotel. Beautiful building, the stuff is super friendly, delicious breakfast and the location at the lake is amazing!

Room was very comfortable with comfortable lounge area, plenty of space for luggage, extra toiletries and tea/ coffee readily available for free, we really enjoyed our stay, wish we had of booked additional days.

The room was comfy, we had our own bathroom (small but it was enough for us). Heating worked well, we could dry our stuff. We had an amazing breakfast served by friendly host. Set in one of Scotland’s most spectacular and historic glens, not far from Glencoe village, this alpine-style youth hostel offers a range of comfortable accommodation. Nice and friendly hostel in the beautiful landscape. Kind men on the reception, large kitchen and dining area. Bathroom and toilets were clean and modern. We slept in a cozy double room.

Looking out over Loch Leven, Isles of Glencoe Hotel is nestled on the side of a peninsula, reaching into Loch Leven at the foot of Glencoe. We love that it was on the water great location!

The location was perfect to end a day of hiking the West Highland Way. The Tailrace Inn has a bar on the ground floor and the rooms were above. The rooms were cozy and suited our needs. The bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking and have a beer (or two) and a good dinner (make a reservation for dinner if you can). As good was the dinner was, the breakfast the next day was the star of the show with porridge as creamy and good as any that we have ever had. The hotel also provided a delicious packed lunch for us to take away for our next day of hiking. This was a wonderful choice for a place to stay in Kinlochleven.
